Miss Craine was a favorite in this community - beautiful in person, amiable and vivacious in disposition, she enjoyed the friendship and esteem of all who knew her. For a few years past she has been marked by that fell-destroyer of the human race - Consumption - as a victim of his own, but she never repined, and was cheerful and happy even when suffering upon her couch, as she did for the last few months of her life. We condole with her mourning relatives and friends. She is gone, however, and leaves only the precious legacy to her friends, of a sweet and gentle disposition, a pure and spotless life - one in every way fitted to be the compassion of Good Spirits, and the Guardian Angel to intercede for her friends, whom she has left behind. On Sunday afternoon, after appropriate ceremonies, her remains were followed to the Presbyterian Cemetery, by a large number of her relatives, and by numerous sympathizing friends.
