Crane, one of Northwood's best known citizens, died at midnight Sunday after a week's battle with influenza and pneumonia. He was born at Sandy Ridge December 22, 1889 and was married June 18, 1917 to Miss Amber Getz, of Northwood. The mother, one daughter Velda, and two sons, Raymond and James survive. He also leaves his parents and three sisters, who are: Elizabeth and Rose of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Minnie Rose of Northwood. He was a member of the United Brethren church and had been employed at the West Virginia Pulp and Paper plant here. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. E.
