Mrs. Edith May Crawford, widow of Joseph H. Crawford, died yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock at the Mercy hospital following an operation for gallstones which she underwent Tuesday morning. She was admitted to the hospital from her home, 700 Crawford avenue, earlier in the week. She was born on November 14, 1873, in Renovo, the daughter of Martin W. and Anna Hunt, both of 611 Fourth avenue, this city. She resided in Altoona for forty years. Her husband died six years ago. Surviving are her parents and the following brothers and sisters: William Foster Hunt, Mrs. Ira Baker of Juniata, James E. Hunt, Mrs. E. H. Levan, Chester L. Hunt, all of Altoona, and Mrs. E. H.
