He was born at Laurelton, Union county, on Feb. 14, 1881, a son of Horace and Catherine Crawford, but had resided in Altoona for the past thirty-three years. Mr. Crawford was employed as a boilermaker in the East Altoona roundhouse. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sara (Blair) Crawford; one son and one daughter, Bruce B. of the city and Mrs. Emma Herbster of Lewistown; two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Frank M. Crawford, Mrs. Annie King, Arthur, George, Mrs. Florence Strickler, Mrs. Ruth Deeter and Carl Crawford. Mr. Crawford was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Mifflinburg Modern Woodmen. Friends will be received at the home after 6 o'clock this evening. CRAWFORD - Funeral services for Oscar Bakeless Crawford of 2730 Fifth avenue will be held at the home at 2.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon by Rev. Dr. R. Skyles Oyler of Simpson Methodist church.
