JESSE H. CREE, 

Of 915 1/2 Sixth avenue, died at 11:15 o'clock last night in the 
Altoona hospital where he was admitted on Tuesday.  He was born in 
Mifflin Nov. 4, 1883, a son of John and Linda (Leach) Cree, and married 
Miss Esther R. Nipple.  Surviving are his wife, the following children: 
Kathryn, at home, Harry E. of Canan Station, Dan G., in the army, 
Donald M., and Mrs. Hazel E. Fasano of the city; 13 grandchildren, and 
the following brothers and sister: Charles and Arthur of Los Angeles, 
Calif., Dan and Mrs. Carl Vandergrift of Kalamazoo, Mich., Harry of 
Saxton and John of Harrisburg.  Mr. Cree retired in March, 1946, as a 
boilermaker in the Altoona works.  Friends will be received at the 
Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening.
