Creighton, employed as a blacksmith in the local Pennsylvania railroad shops, died at the Altoona hospital at 11 o'clock Sunday morning, death being caused by diabetes. He resided at 115 East Crawford avenue. Deceased was born in this city, March 19, 1876, and was a son of Calvin and Rebecca Creighton, both deceased. He is survived by the widow and two daughters, Mrs. W. E. Gregor of East End and Mrs. Chester DeArmitt, of Cleveland, O. Three brothers and one sister, William and John of Altoona and James and Ella Creighton of Juniata county, also survive along with five grandchildren. He was a member of the Railroad Relief. Funeral services will be conducted at the late residence at 3:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Monday, December 8, 1924
