CRISMAN Mr. Crisman, 83, of Box 345, RD 2, died today, Dec. 10, 1982, in Altoona VA Medical Center, after an extended illness. Mr. Crisman retired as a security guard from the U.S. Postal Service in 1970. He was born March 29, 1899, in Altoona, the son of Samuel M. and Ora (Hahn) Crisman, and married Beatrice M. Stiles, who died March 17, 1968. Surviving are six daughters: Mrs. Genevieve Schimminger in New Jersey, Mrs. Ora Wesner, Mrs. Catherine Spinazzola and Gladys of Altoona, Mrs. Florence Vipond of East Freedom and Mrs. Theresa Caso of Miami, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Florence of Knox. Mr. Crisman was a Navy veteran of World War I. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Stevens Mortuary. CRISMAN - Services for Howard S. Crisman of Box 345, RD 2, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Memorial Chapel of Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th Ave., by the Rev. Robert Westberg. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Stevens Mortuary.
