CRISSMAN Of 529 Hickory street, Hollidaysburg, died at his home at 8.15 o'clock last evening after a brief illness. He was born in Scotch valley Nov. 28, 1875, a son of Benjamin F. and Elizabeth (Robinson) Crissman, and married Elizabeth Miller July 21, 1923, at Zion Lutheran church, Hollidaysburg. His wife died in 1950. Mr. Crissman was engaged in farming on the family farm in Turkey valley until 1914 when he entered the Pennsylvania railroad's service, from which he retired in February, 1946, after 32 years' service. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church, the Men's Bible class, Juniata lodge F. and A. M. and had served as master of the lodge in 1922 and 1924. He was a member of Mountain commandery and the Jaffa Shrine. Surviving are three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Pearl Harpster of Hollidaysburg, Homer and Roy, both of Hollidaysburg, R.D. 2, Miss Ada and Miss Mary Crissman of Hollidaysburg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
