Martinsburg, March 4. - Mary Jane Crissman, wife of Frank P. Crissman, died at her home at 2:45 o'clock this morning of a nervous disease following influenza. She was born April 13, 1863, in North Woodbury township, and was the daughter of Henry and Magdalene Stoner, and was married December 1, 1881. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. L. A. Ennis, of Towanda; Mrs. Leon Mentzer, of Martinsburg, and Frank S. Crissman, at home; Mrs. Homer B. Cameron, a daughter, died of influenza in November; the following sisters and brother also survive: Mrs. L. I. Kauffman, near Martinsburg; Mrs. J. M. Woodcock, Waterside; and Fred C. Stoner, of Altoona. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at her late home; interment in Fairview cemetery, Martinsburg. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday, March 5, 1919, page 10
