DIED - CRISWELL - FATAL CASUALTY - Mr. Robert Criswell, a farmer, 
residing within fifteen miles of Davenport, Iowa, was instantly killed 
by lightning during a recent severe storm. Mr. Criswell was formerly a 
resident of Williamsburg, this county, having removed to Iowa about the 
year 1840. The deceased was well known and respected not only in this 
county but also in his adopted home. His sudden death is a terrible 
affliction to the bereaved family.
