ALTOONA, Oct. 14. - Mrs. Jennie Croft, daughter of G. M. Hite, a prominent citizen of Roaring Spring, this county, was so badly injured last night by being thrown from a carriage that she died two hours later. Mrs. Croft, with her brother, Howard Hite, went driving. The horse became frightened and ran off. Both occupants were thrown from the carriage. Mrs. Croft struck on her head and fractured her skull.
