SIMON CLINTON CROFT

Died at his home at 279 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, Wednesday at 9.05 a.m. 
He was born at Potter Creek July 16, 1882, a son of Fredrick and Jennie 
(Snowden) Croft. He married Edna Dick Dec. 25, 1907. She survives, along 
with one son, Ralph W. of Roaring Spring; one granddaughter, one great-
granddaughter and three sisters, Mrs. Mae Ironsides of Altoona, Mrs. Laura 
Wolfe of Yardley and Mrs. Grace Smith of Altoona. He was a member of Faith 
Assemblies of God and retired in 1950 from the employ of the J.L. Hartman 
Co. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, 
after 4 p.m. today.
