Crosby Mrs. Kathryn Lorene Crosby, 1804 Willow Road, Camp Hill, a former Tyrone resident, died Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at the Reading Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born May 27, 1914, at Birch Tree, Mo., a daughter of Millard and Blanche Baughman Smithson. On Oct. 1, 1938, at Springfield, Mo. She was married to Harold Crosby. Surviving are a daughter and a son, Mrs. Neil (Carole) Kimmel, of Tyrone; David, of Reading; five grandchildren, the parents, of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister and a brother, Mrs. Nancy Brown and Duke Smithson, both of St. Louis, Mo. A brother, Phil, preceded her in death. She assisted her husband in the pastorate of the Tyrone Assembly of God from 1950 to 1961. Since then she has aided her husband in his position as state Christian Education Director for some 300 churches in Pennsylvania. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Altoona Assembly of God, 801 Pleasant Valley Blvd., in charge of the Rev. Philip Bongiorno, district superintendent of the church. Burial will be in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received at the church in Altoona on Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. Arrangements are in charge of the Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone.
