WILLIAM FRANCIS CROWL, JR.

  A son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Crowl, sr., of Avalon road, Juniata 
gap, died at 9.15 o'clock this morning at the Mercy hospital where he 
was admitted on March 1.  He was born in Altoona on Aug. 3, 1923, a son 
of William F. and Marian (Hetrick) Crowl, and was a member of the 
Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, attending the seventh grade of the 
Cathedral school.  Surviving are his parents, three brothers and two 
sisters, James, Robert, Thomas, Anna and Jeanne, all at home.  The body 
may be viewed at the Jones funeral home.  The funeral will be held 
Saturday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in the Cathedral.  
Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
