WALTER L. CRUM

Of 120 Walnut avenue, died at 6 o'clock this morning at his home. Mr. Crum was 
born Nov. 4, 1886, at Jersey Shore, a son of Lloyd and Annie (Ferdig) Crumm. 
Surviving are his wife, the former Kathryn Nickola; two daughters, Mrs. John T. 
Keohane of Providence, R. I., and Mrs. George G. Irwin of Altoona; three grand-
children and three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Mabel Cochrane of Alliance, O., 
Mrs. Florence Sheppard and Bruce Crumm of Altoona and Mrs. Leah Deeter of 
Johnstown. Retiring in 1952 as a derrick engineer in the Altoona car shops. Mr. 
Crum was a member of the Fourth Lutheran church and Altoona Aerie, F. O. E. 
Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock this
evening.
