Crust, 90, a guest at the Lutheran Home of Hollidaysburg, formerly of 1312 Broadway, Juniata, Altoona, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, at Altoona Regional Health Center, Altoona Hospital Campus on Wednesday, December 22, 2004. She was born November 3, 1914, in Williamsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Verna (Mierley) Focht. She married Leonard R. Crust October 2, 1934, in Keyser, West Virginia. He died August 24, 1974. Mrs. Crust was a 1933 graduate of Alexandria High School and had a two year college equivalent degree. She enjoyed gardening and reading. She was very dedicated to her church and to her family. Surviving are three sons, Richard, spouse of Marla, of Altoona; Fred, spouse of Linda, of Altoona and John, spouse of Dianne, of State College; four daughters, Beverly Pilger, spouse of Mark, of Florence, KY; Carol Grimm, spouse of Lee, of Fayetteville, PA; Linda Bonsell, spouse of Clair and Sue McFarland, spouse of Pat, of Juniata; a special ex-daughter-in-law, Maureen Crust of Altoona; three brothers, Stanley Focht, spouse of Florence, of Hollidaysburg, Eugene Focht, spouse of Shirley, of Hollidaysburg and Ted Focht, spouse of Dolly, of Baltimore, MD; one sister, Martha Dennis, of Baltimore, MD; 18 grandchildren, Ryan and Katy McFarland, Denise Sprankle, Jim Schopp, Tim and Chad Grimm, Shelli and Paula Crust, Robin Pomponio, David Iavasile, Neidi Leek, Missy Henderson, Molly Spinazzola, Rick, Tim and Rhonda Crust, Melody Hewitt and Cindy Tragon; 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Robert and Shirley Crust; three grandchildren, Joshua Grimm, Matthew Crust and Mark Crust; two brothers, George and Gerald Focht and one sister, Erma. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 North Fourth Avenue, Juniata and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2004 at Hollidaysburg Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 2 Jefferson Street, Hollidaysburg, PA. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Donald Robson officiating. Interment, St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Sinking Valley. In memory of Mrs. Faye E.
