HERBERT VANCE CULBERT

  Herbert Vance Culbert died at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at his home on 
West Third street.  He was taken ill one week ago today with pleurisy which 
developed into pneumonia.  Mr. Culbert was the son of William (deceased) and 
Harriet Hamer Culbert, and was born at Mt. Etna, January 8, 1879.  He was 
united in marriage November 17, 1910, to Florence Clapper, who survives with 
these children: Lila, Elmer, Harriet, and Addison; also two sister survive, 
Mrs. James Bechtel and Mrs. Florence Frye, both of Williamsburg.  He was a 
member of the I.O.O.F. of Williamsburg.  The funeral will be held Friday at 
2 o'clock at the home and the interment will be made in the Presbyterian 
cemetery at Williamsburg.
