MRS. MARGARET J. CUMMER,

Well known resident of this city and wife of John G. Cummer of 303 Sixth 
street, died at her home last evening at 7.10 o'clock of dropsy.  She was 
born on Sept. 19, 1861.  Mrs. Cummer was a member of the Fifth Avenue 
Methodist church, the Branches of the Vine Sunday school class and of the 
Ladies' auxiliary to the B. of R.T.  She is survived by her husband, one 
son, John W. Cummer and one daughter, Helen, at home.  Six brothers, George 
Knox, Granville; Rev. Homer C. Knox, Harrisburg; Rev. Robert J. Knos, John, 
A. S. and W. W. Knox of this city and three sisters, Mrs. W. C. Rush, and 
Mrs. Maude Rountree, State College and Mrs. Harry Price, Lewistown, also 
survive.  Funeral services will be held at the late home at 7.30 o'clock 
tomorrow evening and the remains will be taken to McVeytown on Friday 
morning for burial.
