MRS. ANNA B. CUPP.

  The Tyrone correspondent sent the following obituary to the Altoona 
Tribune of November 28: "Mrs. Anna B. Cupp, whose death was announced in 
yesterday's 'Topics,' was born in Bedford county, October 31, 1833, and was 
aged at death 70 years and 26 days.  On January 1, 1857, she was united in 
marriage with John Cupp at Tyrone and they have resided in this vicinity 
ever since except three years in Butler county.  Mrs. Cupp was a Christian 
in all that the word implies, a devoted and loving wife and mother and a 
good neighbor.  The aged husband survives and of their ten children, eight 
are living.  Two brothers and three sisters also survive her.  The brothers 
are Adam and Frank Benner, of Bedford county.  The sisters are Mrs. Mattie 
Stickler, of Johnstown; Mrs. J. H. Miller, of Butler, and Mrs. Sophia 
Garrison, of Iowa."
