Curry, of Sharon, died Sunday morning at 2:45 o’clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Curry, 2210 North Fifth street Harrisburg, of tuberculosis. He was born in Tyrone, January 24, 1891, and removed with his parents to Harrisburg about ten years ago. For seven years, he was employed as a heater in the tin mills of Sharon. About December 1 he went to Harrisburg, in the hope that change of climate might be beneficial, but he gradually grew weaker until the end came. His mother, who was Miss Ella K. Stahl, of Fostoria, previous to her marriage, died when he was thirteen months old. He is survived by his wife and three children; his father and stepmother, two sisters, Mrs. George Burd and Miss Violet Curry, and one stepsister, Mrs. George Towler, all of Harrisburg. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. A. S. Williams, of the Curtin Heights Methodist Episcopal church. At 11:37 the body was brought to Tyrone for interment in the family plot in Grandview cemetery. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
