CHARLES ELIAS DANNAWAY

Died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at his home, 2200 Columbia avenue, 
Tyrone.  He was born May 18, 1885, in Syria, the son of Charles and 
Bashure (Joseph) Dannaway.  He was married Nov. 29, 1905, to Rose 
Joseph.  Surviving are his wife and the following children: Aleck, of 
Petersburg, Va., Abraham, Fred, Samuel and George at home, Mrs. Russell 
Phillinger and Mrs. Mary Dannaway, all of Tyrone; six grandchildren and 
two brothers, George of Brazil and Samuel of Tyrone.  He was a member 
of the St. George Syrian Orthodox church, Altoona and operated a 
grocery and confectionery store at Tyrone.  Friends will be received 
after 7 o'clock this evening.
