MRS. EDITH C. DAVIS,

Well known resident of this city and wife of Harry B. Davis of 1327 1/2
Sixteenth avenue, died at her home yesterday morning at 4.40 o'clock
after an illness of several months of a complication of diseases.  She
was born in Altoona on April 25, 1878, the daughter of H. D. and Rebecca
Barclay of 1901 Fifth avenue.  Besides her husband she is survived by
the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. H. C. Bush, Mrs. C. S. Filer,
Miss Catharine Barclay and Edward L. Barclay, all of Altoona, and Mrs.
Mary Rockey, East Peru, Ia.  She was a faithful member of the First
Lutheran church where the funeral services will be conducted Wednesday
afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, services to be in charge of her pastor, the
Rev. Dr. Marion Justus Kline, interment following in Fairview cemetery. 
The remains may be viewed after 4 o'clock this afternoon.
