MRS. AMANDA DAVIS

Of 1609 Sixteenth street, widow of George Albert Davis, died at her 
home at 8.30 o'clock this morning.  She was born on May 20, 1859, at 
Wilmore, Cambria county, a daughter of Christian and Amanda (Ober) 
Shaffer.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Hauk; two brothers, 
Clark Shaffer of Wilmore and Dan Shaffer of Conemaugh; one sister, Mrs. 
Alice Sherbine of Wilmore, and two grandsons.  Mrs. Davis was a member 
of the First Lutheran church.  Friends will be received at the Hickey 
funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.

DAVIS - Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Davis of 1609 Sixteenth street 
will be held at 2.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Hickey funeral 
home by Rev. Luke H. Rhoads.  Interment in Fairview cemetery.  Friends 
are being received at the Hickey funeral home.
