MRS. ANNA DAVIS

  Mrs. Anna Davis, aged about 80 years, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Patrick McClain, at 8:45 o'clock last evening of 
senility.  Born in Ireland, the daughter of Bernard and Mary Magee, she 
came to America seventy years ago and had resided in Altoona many 
years.  She was married sixty years ago to William Davis, who retired 
from the Pennsy service in 1909 and survives with the one daughter.  
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren 
and one great-great-grandchild.  Mrs. Davis was a faithful member of 
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic church.  The funeral arrangements 
will be announced later.

Funeral Notice.

  The funeral of Mrs. William Davis will be held with mass at Our Lady 
of Mt. Carmel church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning, followed by 
interment in St. John's cemetery.
