Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, November 7, 1890 The Early Dead. While the wife of Mr. Samuel Davis, of this city, was visiting friends in Harrisburg and the east with her daughter Carrie and youngest son Guy, their enjoyment was brought to an end by the latter suddenly taking very sick Tuesday morning, though apparently quite well when he left home. He continued to sink until on Thursday night at 9 o'clock he died. Funeral will take place from the residence of his parents, 2306 Fourth avenue Saturday between 2 and 3 o'clock p.m. All friends and neighbors are invited to attend. Darling Guy, thou then has left us, Gone a little while before, Gone to wait for us in heaven, Where we'll meet to part no more. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, November 8, 1890
