Davis, a well known Pittsburgh division trainman, residing at 1803 Twelfth avenue, died at 3.50 o'clock yesterday morning at the Mercy hospital, of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. He was 49 years old on July 6 of this year, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Davis, and one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Rouzer, one grandson and his mother, Mrs. Nancy Davis of Pitcairn, two brothers, George and Ira of Pitcairn, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Twitmire of Wilmerding and Miss Nina Davis at home. He was a member of Altoona lodge No. 174, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and of the Methodist church. The funeral will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. B.
