All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ DAVIS Mrs. Lucinda Sabina Davis, formerly of 1604 Sixteenth street, died at 5 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Helena M. Fleck, 1617 Fourteenth avenue, of a complication of diseases. She had been in failing health for several years, but her condition was not serious until Thursday. She was the daughter of Jacob and Nancy Buck, both deceased, and was born at Eldorado May 26, 1858. She is survived by a son, John J. Davis, of 203 North Thirty-fourth street, West, Philadelphia, two brothers, Trevan Buck of Eldorado and J. A. of Kansas City, Kan., and these sisters: Mrs. M. J. Lindsey, Mrs. S. E. Yon, Mrs. Anna M. Kuhn, Mrs. Helena Fleck and Miss Estella Buck, all of this city. She was a member of the First Baptist church for forty years. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2.30, with services at the residence where she died, in charge of Dr. Clayton Grinnell, pastor of the First Baptist church, assisted by Dr. Marion J. Kline of the First Lutheran church. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, December 30, 1918
