MRS. MARY CATHARINE DAVIS,

Wife of William A. Davis, retired engineer, died at her home, 202 Penn 
street, Hollidaysburg, this morning at 2.45 o'clock of complication of 
diseases following an illness of several years. She was born Nov. 12, 
1859, the daughter of David and Sussane Spealman and was married April 
12, 1878, and is survived by her husband and these children:  Mrs. E. 
R. Vipond, Mrs. F. A. Bice and Eppa Catharine Davis, at home and three 
grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was a lifelong member and a constant 
attendant of the Methodist church. Funeral services will be conducted 
at the home Thursday at 2.30 p.m. by her pastor, Rev. R. C. Peters. 
Interment in the Presbyterian cemetery.
