DAVY DEAD James Abraham Davy, a well known gang foreman in the air brake department at the East Hollidaysburg shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad company, died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock, after a three-days' illness with pneumonia, developing from Spanish influenza, at his home, 122 Jones street. Deceased was a son of Thomas and Levinia Faringer Davy and was born at Howard, Center County on November 2, 1880. He had been a resident of Hollidaysburg for the past two years, prior to which time he resided at Duncansville. He was a member of the Lutheran church of Hollidaysburg; P.O.S. of A., and Red Men of Duncansville and Brother of Railroad Carmen. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Sarah Jane Rhodes of Martinsburg. There were no children to the union. One sister also survives: Mrs. E. A. Lupold of Duncansville. Private funeral services will be held at his late home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, to be conducted by Rev. Julius F. Seebach. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery, Martinsburg.
