MRS. FLORENCE J. DAWSON

Former Tyrone resident, died at her home at Ellensville, N.Y., March 
25, following an illness of nine months.  Mrs. Dawson was a daughter of 
the late Bredon W. Jury and Mrs. Margaret (Ayers) Jury and was born in 
Tyrone, Nov. 27, 1904.  On Aug. 16, 1923, at Osceola Mills, she married 
Clarence R. Dawson of Osceola Mills.  Surviving are her mother, her 
husband and two sons: Clarence Robert Dawson, United States army, 
Tulsa, Okla.; and William Alvin Dawson, at home.  She was a member of 
the First Presbyterian church of Tyrone.  Funeral services were held 
last Tuesday at Ellensville where interment was made.
