Local Brevities

  Louisa, daughter of John and Louisa Dawson, of Roanoke, Va., but 
formerly of this city, died at 9 o'clock Friday morning of bronchitis, 
aged 1 year and 3 months.  The death of this little child is more sad 
than usual, owing to the fact that Mrs. Dawson, with her two little 
girls, have been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Mathews, for 
some months past, and her husband arrived on Thursday night, intending 
they should accompany him home, but this little girl took suddenly sick 
and died at the time stated.  The funeral will take place on Sunday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock, from the residence of George W. Craig, 1106 
Third avenue.  Interment in St. John's cemetery.
