DEATH OF A CHILD

  Vernon Leroy Dean, son of William A. and Della Dean of 40? Fourth 
street, Juniata, died at 8.30 o'clock this morning.  He was born July 
24, 1916, and is survived by the parents.  Funeral services will be 
held at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon in charge of Rev. Wilt of the 
Greenwood United Brethren church.  Interment will be made in the 
Greenwood cemetery.
