Walter Cloyd Dean, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Dean, died at the family home at Newburg, at 8 o'clock last night of tuberculosis, after a lingering illness. He was born in this city March 30, 1903, and besides his parents is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Edna Young, Hopewell, Bedford county; Edgar, Raymond, Florence, Hilda and Elizabeth, all at home. He was a member of the Memorial Baptist church. Funeral services will be held from his late home at 2.30 o'clock Thursday afternoon and burial will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. The services will be public, but the burial private. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, December 17, 1918 DEAN Walter Cloyd Dean of Newburg, R.F.D., No. 2, died at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at his home of tuberculosis. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Dean and was born March 30, 1903. The parents survive with these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Edna Young, Hopewell, Bedford county; Miss Florence, Edgar, Elizabeth, Hilda and Raymond, all at home. He was a member of Memorial Baptist church. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Services will be public. Private burial at Oak Ridge cemetery.
