DeArmitt, of the Thompson building on Second street, Juniata, died on Saturday evening at 5 o'clock as the result of diphtheria. The young girl was sick for two weeks and was thought to be getting well when a relapse, affecting her kidneys, caused her death. She was born in Greenwood on January 25, 1904, and besides her parents is survived by three brothers and one sister - Frank, James, Nellie and Luther, all at home. The deceased child was a bright pupil in the Juniata Central Grammar school and a regular attendant in the Sunday school of St. Paul's Reformed church. Funeral service that will necessarily be private will be held in the home this morning at 10 o'clock. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, January 15, 1917
