All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ DECKER Mrs. Mary Decker, an aged resident of the East Side, was found dead in the kitchen at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jennie Corbett of 1813 Fifth avenue, with whom she made her home, yesterday evening at 4:45 o'clock. Mrs. Decker had not been in good health for some time, but was able to be about the house during the day, and gave no intimation of being sick during the afternoon, and was found dead by her grand- daughter at the time stated. She was born August 15, 1858, the daughter of William and Mary Delozier, both deceased, and was married to E. F. Decker on April 30, 1879, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Father Welsh of St. John's Catholic church. She was a member of the Sacred Heart church at the time of her death. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Corbett with whom she resided, Mrs. Walter Rellburg, Mrs. Walter Chamberlain and Mrs. James Dolby, all of Hilltop, and by one son, Raymond F. Decker, a member of Company G, 110th Regiment who is now in a base hospital in France, recovering from a gas attack. Another son, William Decker, was killed in 1910, while at target practice with Company G, at the rifle range at Ant Hills. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Angeline Bartlebaugh, residing in Ohio, Mrs. Annie Nedds of Pittsburgh, Edward Delozier of Lakemont, Jesse Delizier, residing in Ohio and William Delozier of this city.
