Decker, who has served the Methodist congregation of this place as pastor for the last two years, died of consumption on Saturday evening of last week in the 43d year of her age. At 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon her remains were taken from their residence on Market street to the Methodist Church where appropriate services were conducted by Rev. S. C. Swallow, of Tyrone; Rev. George Guyer, of Bellwood; Rev. Heckman, of Warriorsmark; Rev. F. B. Riddle, of Tyrone. After an opportunity was given to all who desired to see the remains of the deceased they were followed to the Methodist cemetery by an exceedingly large circle of friends and relatives. Perfectly resigned to the will of God she bore her afflictions, and awaited the Master's coming without fear or trembling. Having lived the life of the righteous it was her privilege to die the death of the righteous. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
