MRS. WILLIAM DEFFENBAUGH.

At 8.35 o'clock last evening Mrs. William Deffenbaugh died at her
home, 2019 Fifth avenue, of gastritis.  Deceased was born at Cross
Roads, Westmoreland county, and had resided in this city for a number
of years and was esteemed by a number of friends.  She is survived by
her husband and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Miller and Miss Annie
Ackinson, both of this city.  The funeral will take place at 2.30
o'clock Sunday afternoon.  Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.

MRS. CALLIE DEFFENBAUGH.

Mrs. Callie Deffenbaugh, wife of William Deffenbaugh, died at 8.35
last evening, at her residence, 2019 Fifth avenue, of gastritis.
Deceased was born at Salem Cross Roads, Westmoreland county, about 45
years ago, and had been a resident of this city for twenty years.  She
is survived by her husband and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Miller and
Miss Annie Ackison, both of this city.  James Holiday, a nephew, who
made his home with the deceased, also survives.  The deceased was a
faithful member of the Simpson Methodist church and was always
actively engaged in charitable works until her last illness, which had
confined her to the house for a long period.  Funeral services will be
held at the house at 2.30 Sunday afternoon.  Interment in Oak Ridge
cemetery.
