SARAH A. DEFFIBAUGH

Of Osterburg, died at the home of her brother, Elmer Imler of
Geeseytown, at 6 a.m. today, after an extended illness. She was born on
Nov. 1, 1874, at Osterburg, a daughter of John R. and Susan (Klotz)
Imler and on Dec. 21, 1900 in the Osterburg Lutheran Church, married J.
Calvin Deffibaugh, who preceded her in death. Surviving are three
children. Dr. J. Irvin of Osterburg and Altoona, Mrs. Suie Mateer of
Mill Creek and Mrs. Ada Hefner of Huntingdon, one grandson, a brother
and sister, Elmer, and Mrs. Hattie Allison of Cross Keys. Shew as a
member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Osterburg, and of the Ladies Aid
Society. Friends will be received at the Carn Funeral Home, Claysburg,
after 2 p.m. tomorrow.
