CARLO DEFLORENTIS, 

Formerly of Altoona, died at 8:30 a.m. today at his home in Lakewood, 
Ohio, following an extended illness.  He was a native of Italy.  While 
residing here he was occupied as a tailor.  Surviving are his wife, 
Anna; six children, Mrs. Caroline Heacox, Mrs. Jean Davis, Antoinette 
and Arthur, all of Cleveland, Ohio, and Carl Jr. of Puente, California; 
and 10 grandchildren.  A son, David, died five years ago.  Interment 
will be made in Cleveland.
