MRS. VERNA DEITCH 

Of 509 Twenty-third avenue, widow of Harry L. Deitch died at her home 
yesterday afternoon after a three weeks' illness.  She was born in 
Altoona on Jan. 27, 1889, a daughter of Michael and Belle (Kopp) Gwin.  
Mr. Deitch died in 1934.  Surviving are two daughters and one son, Adda 
Belle and Martha Jane, both at home, and C. Russell Deitch of 
Meadville; her mother of State College, three brothers and one sister, 
C. C. Gwin and Ralph Gwin, both of the city, Russell Gwin and Mrs. 
Harry Shomberg of State College.  Mrs. Deitch was a member of the First 
Presbyterian church.  Friends are being received at the Lafferty 
funeral home this evening.
