She was born May 12, 1958 in Tyrone a daughter of Dr. Richard W. Stever, Jr. and Mary Ellen Roarabaugh Jones. She was twice married, first to Melvin (Dave) Reese. She then married Benedict L. DelBaggio, Jr. on April 13, 1989 in St. Augustine, Fla. Ellen is survived by her loving husband, her sons Aaron Matthew Reese and wife Carrie of Tyrone, and Ian Chandler Reese of State College, her step-children Terrance James DelBaggio and wife Stephanie of Tyrone, Benedict L. DelBaggio III and wife Susan of Hilton Head, S.C., Leah Anne DelBaggio of Tyrone, her father and wife Barbara of Spruce Creek, her mother of Tyrone, her brother Richard Westbrook Stever III and wife Kimba of Tyrone, her sister Amy Lynne Stever and husband Revel Kemp of Adelaide, South Australia, her grandmother Ellen Marie Rorabaugh and her aunt Gretta Rorabaugh Czap of Tyrone, her father-in-law- Benedict L. DelBaggio Sr; a sister-in-law Christina Maria Charney and her husband Tom of Houtzdale, Leonard Ralph DelBaggio and his wife Brenda of Sinking Valley, Patsy Alex DelBaggio and his wife Karen of Tyrone. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah "Lee" Nicole and Hunter Matthew Reese, Kylie Nicole Rutherford, Benedict L. IV, and Nicholas John DelBaggio, and her nephew Richard Westbrook Stever IV and niece Olivia Marie Stever. She loved her best friend Marie Turiano and her favorite pets Luci, Sydney, Lincoln, Duncan and Willow "W". She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Malcolm Lynne Rorabaugh and Dr. Richard Westbrook Stever Sr., her grandmother Anna McConahy Stever, her niece Elizabeth Nicole Stever and her mother-in-law Carmen Beryl DelBaggio. She was a member of the Tyrone High School Class of 1976 and in 1984 graduated form the Altoona School of Nursing with a diploma in Nursing. Ellen proudly served as a nurse at Tyrone Hospital, Altoona Hospital, Lee Hospital, Johnstown, Community Nursing Service and the Centre Community Surgical Center, State College. Ellen's favorite past-time was entertaining family and friends at her home. All who knew her gained from her acquaintance. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone with Rev. Norman Huff officiating. Burial will be at Gray's Cemetery, Stormstown. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library, Children's Section, 1019 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, Pa. 16686.
