Delozier, 93, a resident of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Roaring Spring, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at the home. He was born July 3, 1911, in Roaring Spring RD, son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Dallas) Delozier. He married Vera G. Reffner Nov. 26, 1932. She died Jan. 7, 1992. He was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring. Mr. Delozier retired in 1976 as No. 3 paper machine operator at Appleton Papers, Inc., Roaring Spring plant, after 47 years of service. He was the oldest living employee. He enjoyed gardening and small farming. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie L. McKinney, who died April 24, 2004. Surviving are a son-in-law, Eugene McKinney, of Roaring Spring; three granddaughters: Melissa Bookhammer of Harrisburg, Becky Bryson of Roaring Spring and Lucinda Treese of Crystal Lake, Ill.; six great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at The Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday by Pastor Kate Gandy and Pastor Jerry McCuller. Interment at Holsinger Cemetery, Bakers Summit. Memorial contributions may be given to The Organ Fund at First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring or to Homewood at Martinsburg.
