All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Mrs. Elizabeth Delozier Mrs. Elizabeth Delozier died at the home of her daughters, Misses Ruth and Myrtle Delozier, in Duncansville, at 8 o'clock on Monday evening. She was married in 1856 to John Delozier, who, eight years ago, preceded her to the grave. To this union eleven children were born, of whom ten are still living. They are: Mrs. Barbara White, of Hollidaysburg: Mrs. Aden Wertz, of Tyrone; Mrs. Fred Stiffler, of Canan Station; Mrs. Theodore T. Koon, of Duncansville; Mrs. Mary Mauk and Mrs. C. W. Rhodes, of Altoona; John Delozier, of East Freedom; Mrs. Adam States, of McKee's Gap, and Misses Myrtle and Ruth, at home. Five sisters and two brothers also survive. Her life was that of a devoted Christian mother. Her hospitalities were unbounded and her home was the home of the stranger. She was a faithful member of the German Baptist Brethren church.
