DELOZIER, A lifelong resident of Blair county and one of Blair township's foremost citizens, died yesterday evening at 5 o'clock, at his home at Brooks Mills of cystitis, after an illness which extended over more than a year. Mr. Delozier was the youngest child of a family of twelve sons and two daughters, born to Daniel and Catharine Delozier, pioneer residents of Blair township, where the deceased was born May 28, 1849. Mr. Delozier grew to manhood on his father's farm and was married to Sara Smith on Dec. 21, 1873. He worked at the public works for some years and in later years managed a farm of which he was owner, and still later assisted his son in the conduct of the flouring mill near his home. He was active in public affairs and for many years served on the township school board and likewise held other minor township offices. He is survived by his wife and three sons - Howard, foreman of the car shops at Hollidaysburg, Henry H. and Abraham, all residing near the parental home. He is also survived by two brothers - Ephraim of near Roaring Spring and Samuel of Brooks Mills. He was a member and active worker in the Brethren church at Vicksburg. Private funeral services will be conducted at the late home Saturday forenoon at 10.30 o'clock, followed by interment in the cemetery at Vicksburg. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
