DeMART Retired superintendent of the Warrior Ridge plant of the Pennsylvania Edison company and earlier an employe of the Logan Valley Electric company in Tyrone, died suddenly at his home in Petersburg at 9 o'clock yesterday morning. He was born at Joliet, Ill., on July 29, 1872, a son of William F. and Marie (Pusart) DeMart. Mr. DeMart served the Pennsylvania Edison company for eleven years prior to retiring on April 1, 1937, and had resided in Tyrone for the preceding twenty-two years, in the service of the electric company there. He was a member of the Petersburg Presbyterian church, Masonic lodge, No. 494, at Tyrone, the Harrisburg consistory and Jaffa temple. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeannette (Wilson) DeMart, four sons, William F. of Philadelphia, James D. and Herbert E., of Pittsburgh, and Leroy S. of Detroit, Mich., six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha D. Sickman of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Rose E. Hammer of Chicago. Friends will be received at the Temple funeral home, Petersburg, from 6 o'clock this evening until 11 o'clock Monday morning and thereafter at the Petersburg Presbyterian church. DeMART - Funeral services for Francis William DeMart of Petersburg will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Petersburg Presbyterian church by Rev. C. W. Anderson. Interment in Cedar Grove cemetery, Petersburg. Friends will be received at the Temple funeral home, Petersburg until 11 o'clock Monday morning and thereafter at the church.
