DERNO

  Andrew Derno, one of Blair county's best known residents, died at the 
home of his daughter, Mrs. Ella Robertson, in Duncansville, last night 
at 10 o'clock.  Mr. Derno was engaged in farming in Blair township a 
number of years ago, retiring from the farm, he took up his residence 
in Newry where he lived a retired life until the death of his wife, 
eleven months ago.  Since that time he has been making his home with 
his daughter, Mrs. Ella Robertson, in Duncansville.  He is survived by 
two daughters, Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. Mary Cimberlin.  Arrangements 
for the funeral have not yet been completed and will be announced 
later.

FUNERAL NOTICES.

  The funeral of Andrew Darno [sic] will be held on Thursday morning at 
10 o'clock in the Lutheran church of Duncansville followed by 
interment, in the Newry cemetery.
