SARAH JANE DETWILER, One of the county's oldest residents, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Kensinger, one half mile south of Page station, in North Woodbury township, on Thursday night, of infirmities of age, aged 87 years, 11 months and 4 days. She was twice married, her first husband's name being Anderson. To this union six children were born, as follows: William of Homestead, John, who went to the Civil war and never returned, Mrs. Lizzie Jones of Altoona, Mrs. Mollie Litz of Mohall, Pa., Mrs. W. H. Brumbaugh, deceased, and Mrs. Malissa Cover of Baltimore. Her second husband was Peter Detwiler. He died thirty years ago. To her second union two daughters were born, Mrs. Hannah Ritchey of Mohall and Mrs. Christena Kensinger, at whose home she died. She was a life long member of the Reformed church. The funeral services will be conducted in the Church of the Brethren at Diehl's Cross Roads, at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning, County Treasurer Rev. Moses R. Brumbaugh will preach the funeral sermon.
