DEATH OF A CHILD

  Mildred Alice, daughter of Charles and Lillian DeWitt, of Greenwood, 
died at 12:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of the parents.  
Death was due to pneumonia, following an attack of whooping cough.  She 
was born December 12, 1915.  Owing to the illness of her little sister, 
who has diphtheria, the funeral will be held at 2 o'clock this 
afternoon at the Greenwood United Brethren church.  Burial will follow 
at the church cemetery.  Services and burial will be private.
