SARA JANE DIBERT Of 615 Second avenue, died at her home at 6:30 o'clock last evening after six weeks' illness. She was born on Oct. 22, 1853, a daughter of Jacob and Nancy Eamigh of Roaring Spring. Her husband, George Henry Dibert, died last July. Twelve children were born to the union, seven of whom survive as follows: Mrs. Minerva Lasher of this city, Mrs. Martha Yoder of Greenwood, Howard Dibert, Mrs. H. B. Cupp, Mrs. Katherine Metzgar and David Dibert, all of this city, and Mrs. Ruth Harten of Wehnwood. She also leaves two brothers, John and Eli Eamigh of Roaring Spring; twenty-six grand-children, twenty-one great- grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Dibert was a lifelong member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Minerva Lasher, 524 Second avenue, at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., January 11, 1937 Woman Observing 83rd Anniversary Mrs. Jane Dibert, wife of George Dibert of 615 Second avenue, Saturday celebrated her 83rd natal anniversary. No special observance had been planned, but a family gathering was held at the home in the evening. Mrs. Dibert received felicitations and congratulations from friends and relatives. She leads a useful life and is able to perform many light tasks about the home. She is blessed with fair health, being impeded only by defective eyesight and a slight deafness. Mrs. Dibert was born on Sept. 21, 1852, at Roaring Spring, a daughter of Thomas and Nancy Eamigh, and is the eldest of four children. She has two brothers, John and Eli Eamigh of Roaring Spring. Her father served in the Civil war. There are five generations of her family living. Mr. and Mrs. Dibert will observe their sixty-second wedding anniversary on Oct. 30. She is the mother of twelve children, seven of whom are living as follows: Mrs. Minerva Lasher of 524 Second avenue, Mrs. Martha Yoder of Greenwood, Howard Dibert of 615 Second avenue, Mrs. Izora Cupp of 313 Lexington avenue, Mrs. Catherine Metzger of 212 Eighth street, David I. Dibert of 609 First avenue and Mrs. Ruth Harten of Wehnwood. There are twenty-five grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and five great- great-grandchildren.
