DICK Mr. Dick, 88, of 696 Main St., Roaring Spring, died at 6:50 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 1988, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring. Mr. Dick and his wife owned and operated Charlie Dick's Service Station and Confectionery Store, Roaring Spring, for 48 years. He was born Sept. 23, 1900, in Roaring Spring, the son of Jacob Ira and Sarah Jane (Harker) Dick, and Aug. 24, 1938, married Mildred R. Brumbaugh. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Betty Krider of Tyrone, and a grandson. Mr. Dick was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Roaring Spring. He was also a member of the Hiram Lodge, F&AM; Coudersport Consistory, Jaffa Temple, and a life member of the Friendship Volunteer Fire Company, Roaring Spring. Mr. Dick was a 1918 graduate of Roaring Spring High School. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring. DICK - Services for Charles H. Dick of Roaring Spring will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, by Pastor T. Talbot-Moses. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Luke's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
